Pompano Beach Kiteboarding is a school dedicated to the practice of Kitesurfing / Kiteboarding in south Florida. We offer Kite classes for all types of levels in a suitable environment, thus ensuring a fast and safe learning with the kite.

WE teach kids to kite
Specialised in teaching your kids kitesurfing!
To do this we have special gear for kids (harnesses, helmets, jackets, short lines).
This way we can get the kids out on the water and teach them the principles of kitesurfing in a safe way with an experienced and professional instructor.

After you complete the beginner course we will provide you with a IKO certification card that is recognized worldwide. This will allow you to rent equipment in kitesurf schools all around the world. The certification card we give you also shows the level you have reached so when you would like to have another kitesurf lesson with another school in the future they can see exactly where to to start.

- Setting up your equipment.
- 2-line kite handling on the beach.
- 4-line kite handling on the beach.
- 2 and 4 line kite looping

1st Lesson / 2 hours
$200
Lesson on the beach with small safe kites progressing to larger kites as you are ready. Ages 7-70. No special strength or skill required, no wetsuit needed. You will be surprised how fun this course is. You will learn how to control the smaller kite, as your skills develop we fly larger. You can't tell just by watching, but flying the kite is really challenging. It is definitely fun! You will know after this fun course if you would like to continue instruction to become a Kitesurfer.
6 Hour Package
$590
This package contains 3 two hour lessons. This course will prepare you for the intermediate course. Lesson is mostly on the beach with the big kites. This is challenging fun. The instructor will break this down into small steps in the appropriate order to safely make controlling the kite possible for most anyone. With the kite under control you will be ready to safely progress to the water with your instructor right next to you.
12 Hour Package
$ 1,130
This package contains 6 two hour lessons.
This course is the best option for anyone wanting to completely immerse themselves in the world of kitesurfing! After this course you should be feeling confident to go down to the beach with your own gear, and get out on the water.
Everyone’s progression will be different and at no point will students be asked to perform anything beyond their abilities.
